Learning that the world is not a scary place, but rather an opportunity for fun and excitement, is about much more than simply playing with other puppies or being thrust onto strangers or placed into strange situations. Proper socializatioin is about teaching your puppy confidence, that you will always keep the safe and giving them the tools to make good decisions.

For instance, a properly socialized puppy will:

  • Look to their handler for safety and security if they get nervous or overwhelmed
  • Will be thoughtful and inqusitive of the world around them
  • Will have good social skills with other dogs, not rushing them or shying away from them
  • Will have good social skills with people, not mugging them or shying away from them

In this course, we use fun and engaging games and exercises to help your puppy learn about the big wide world and that YOU are the most fun part!

While greeting other people is wonderful for your puppy to do and practice, you don't want them growing up to think that they can pull you across the street to mug complete strangers!

Likewise we talk through the do's and don't's of puppy play, and how to go about this in a safe and thoughtful way.

So if you have a puppy, you NEED to take this course!
